Sure, we fought hard. But it seemed that they would overcome us by shear numbers. Yet we received help from an unusual alie. Mother nature, the very source of our problems, also has come to our rescue. It seems the 'pillar army cannot survive the heat wave. They are dieing by the thousands, shriveling in the sun. Their carcasses are piling up by the roadside in the thousands. They are laying to waste on the patio and in the shrubs.

Is this the end? Surly it is not as simple as a shift in barometric pressure. Yet they they lay, soon to be nothing more then dust in the wind.
