I spent money. I spent $75.00. I stopped by Suncoast with my double points coupon and I bought Season One and Two of Red Dwarf.

Ah well. I'll get my money's worth out of them.

The days are hectic. The nights are too short.

I had trouble returning to the gym last Tuesday. I try again tomorrow.

...And I'm not getting much done tonight either, though Angel was good. Nice easy cliffhanger for once.

Cliffhanger?

Did we watch the same show? I didn't really notice a cliffhanger. It was the season finale, possibly the series finale (they haven't decided if it will return next season). Hmm... have to mull that.

Well, a cliff hanger in that there are some unanswered questions.

I'm still trying to decide whether I liked the closer. I have to admit that I dislike the whole, "start life over without all the bad things" trope, so it's got a big strike against it with me there. I was also very unconvinced that accepting the over was the right thing to do, both in terms of each character, and in the long run.

But having Cordie in a coma certainly qualifies as a mild cliff-hanger, as well as not knowing what the hidden costs of accepting the offer are going to be.

If they get renewed, and if certain rumors about some Buffy regulars being asked to join the show pan out, I agree with Joss that next season has some potential for some interesting story lines.

There's the Cordie question, and there's also the question of what happened to Gunn in the white room with the panther.

Now Conner... Up until your comment I was enough unconvinced by the "do over" that I still saw it as something else that would go wrong. I was calling that a cliff hanger as well.

Ok... mild then.

Yeah, the Conner thing. I am sort of glad he is gone, I am not sure why, but he irritated me. ::sighs:: And Angel is the only one that knows (well, so does W&H - blackmail in the future?) - so just more stuff to brood over. Kind of sad note to end on.

I was PISSED that they didn't do someting with Cordy. That is something that should have been fixed at this point, I think... my opinion of course.

I liked the tie in with Buffy.

I hope it is renewed. If not, I could probably get rid of the tv....

Well, one thing to keep in mind is that, at the time that they filmed this episode, Charisma had just given birth two weeks before. This year's story lines were influenced by so many outside factors. The actress was really pregnant, they didn't get permission to make a cross-over with Buffy until very late in the season, et cetera.
