Christmas!


We spent Christmas Eve with my family. It was certainly okay, I'm tired of the gloom and Doom that occasionally pops up at these family gatherings. For the most part it was a joyous occasion. Today we slept in until ten. I got up and started breakfast while Juli went off to buy tickets to the "Lord of the Rings". Fandango wasn't working.
Breakfast was eggnog french toast and smokehouse sausage. Then we opened our gifts and relaxed by the fire, watching a bit of the tube.
Lord of the Rings was crowded, but the movie was fine. Still, like any "part two" of a trilogy, it sort of left you... waiting.

Now were relaxing by the fire and getting ready to watch ET.
