I should learn. I need to have a big sign in front of me, or maybe have my visor beep me every day or something, with a massage that says. "Brain Dead? Drink water, Idiot!!"

One of my recent posts I mentioned that I couldn't seem to think. It was because I haven't been drinking water. I got into the habit of drinking like two or three liters a day. Now I think I'm addicted or something. If I don't get at least the gov't recommended 8 glasses a day I just shut down.

So yesterday, by about noon when I realized that might be the problem, I downed a liter in about five minutes. Suddenly everything makes sense, the day's needs were clear, and I had a whole lotta energy.

Drink up, people!

I've been off the Metabolife for about three months. I've been maintaining the weight loss all that time, at about 170. I'm about ready to start it again in lower quantities [it's been long enough] just to get off the last few pounds. And I'm still going to the gym [okay, I missed the last two weeks]. That's the important part of this whole process, that and eating right.

I learned the thing with water about 8 years ago when my family got on the 'Jenny Craig' kick. [Don't do that. It ain't worth it.] The only thing I got from that was the habit of drinking water. Yeah, I was up to four liters during the Metabolife process, so no problem there. Though when you start drinking a larger quantity of water on a regular basis you get used to it and don't have to run to the john all time.

I've found this thing with what I call 'brain fog' [see Joe -vs- the Volcano] happens to me all the time when I haven't had regular amounts of water, diet or no diet. I used to think I was getting giddy or coffee-like stimulation from water, when in fact I was merely thinking clearly and not feeling tired.
