Idle Hands
Oct. 10th, 2002 09:32 pmMonday I acted on the advice of Caarag, a gentleman that Miertam introduced me to at Conifur. We were discussing my Visor Prism which had been malfunctioning for the past three months or so, ever since it took a tumble at the gym. Caarag told me to call handspring customer service, that my visor was still under warranty and, even though I didn't have any paperwork, they would likely honor their commitment.
So I called. I talked with a nice guy named Micheal. He was patient with me even though he struggled with a speech impediment. He showed my how I wasn't hard resetting my Visor like I thought I was. I din't know about holding the power switch while resetting.
In the end, he didn't waste time and sent me a return box. It arrived on Tuesday. Wednesday I shipped my pocket brain off to Handspring.
...today I was kinda lost. I had no toy to play with. I fond myself playing with the controls on my watch. >>>Sigh<<<
