Chicken Soup for the Muse

dolphins_logSometimes, when the muse shrieks incoherently at me, I cook. While at the store this morning I looked about at what might be good for dinner and thought... Chicken Noodle Soup. Not that canned stuff that you throw in water, but soup made from scratch. That's something I've never done. So I dug through our recipe books and found... one Chicken Noodle Soup recipe.
I returned to the store for a second time and bought the ingredients I need and I've just pent the afternoon preparing them all and cleaning out the kitchen. Now I'll be going back to the store a third time and getting the ingredients that I forgot to get the second time. Things like chicken.
They're used to me at Fred Meyer now. They expect me to show up about three times a day. It's only a mile away so I can be forgetful and not worry about it.
