My Computer Has Returned!!

They've scrapped half of my AC adapter and have not yet sent a replacement.

Also, they replaced the system board and kept the extra $199 charge as payment. Total $388. Hmmm

Well, I've gone over some prices, and a 2.2Ghz laptop doesn't seem to be available. Most of them are in the 1.7 range. So I suppose $388, while a large chunk-o-change, is still close to the "it is worth it" level.


I want to DRAW!!!

But I have to chop vegies instead.

Thanks. Everything should arrive today. Dell has done nothing wrong, other then a lack of communication. Even some automated communication would be good "Your computer has arrived" "The system board has gone bad and we are replacing it" "Your computer has been shipped."

Then again I may just be impatient.

As I thought, the AC adapter arrived today. It's a little larger then the original equipment. Perhaps that is why they replaced it.

Everything seems to be working fine. Thanks for dropping me a note.
