All the Buzz

I have a bee hive attached to my house. It's way up under the eve, about 30 to 35 feet high. I don't believe they are doing anything other then attaching themselves to the eve [they aren't eating into the house]. The paper ball is growing, it's about a half foot in diameter.
So what are people's thoughts? Should I "Take Them Out!" or leave them be?

Actually I was never clear on what was so cool about a bee's knees anyway.
Being slightly alergic to their sting...

Call a *local* exterminator (not one of the national chains, if you can avoid it), describe what you see, and ask how you should go about attacking it. The local folks will likely be happy to give you some free advice and will have a reasonable price if you do call them out to do the job.
