dolphins_logThis morning I didn't want to write my morning pages. I had decided that I was going to relax into the day and just let the morning routine go by the wayside.
Yet when I came downstairs and walked into the kitchen I saw the lined yellow pad sitting on the breakfast table. It beckoned me, called to me. Keeeiiith, wriiite on meeee. I couldn't resist. I had to sit before the pad. My hand involuntarily reached out and grasped the pen. I was helpless. I can now, no longer, not write those pages.
As Gene says... A writer writes. And he's still offering bonus points to whatever movie that quote came from.
