Productive Weekend
Sep. 30th, 2007 03:25 pmI've actually had a very productive weekend. Friday, while going through the "Big-Box-o-Photos" that date back to the early eighties, I found a set of negatives that produced a promotional image of my father. I spent Saturday scanning the images with the old Epson Expression 636 on the CAJ company computer. I had to load them onto a thumb drive to take them to the main computer with photoshop CS.
Next I clipped them out of the group scan and did some color correction of the faded images. Then loading them onto an SD chip for printing on the photo printer.
It was good practice for today. Juli had some old 1960's and 70's images, both on negative and slide. I spent the afternoon scanning those in and getting them restored as best I could. Then I printed them out.
This upcoming week at work is Associate Appreciation week. Wee get to wear jeans all week, and there are other party type games. One is to guess the identity of the baby photo. I found one of me at three. Close enough.

In the "Big-Box-o-Photos" I found a set of the gang whale watching in the 80's. There are a few blackmail images, but mostly they are of wide expanses of water with little dots and puffs of spray.
That was my weekend.
I think I'm ready to take on all of the 1961 Alaska images now.
