Lunacy

I happened to look out my window just a few minutes ago. I was wondering how the moon could be waning already. ...and ...why it looked so strange.

Then I remembered. The total lunar eclipse is on. While I would like to have seen it at moon rise, and we would have had a fantastic view, we had cloud cover then.

Still this is cool. I look out now and I can see that it's just finishing up.

I can tell you that Jeffrey is VERY jealous... He wanted to see the eclipse really badly. But it was very cloudy at bedtime, so he didn't stay up. It was still pretty overcast when we got up this morning, so we don't know if it ever cleared up enough over here to actually see it...
