I gave in and drove to Poulsbo to see "Spirited Away". I'm glad I did. That movie needed to be seen on the big screen with big screen sound. Lot's of fun. Great Art. I was a little disappointed with the credits in that they looked like they were pasted over the movie's background mats. They probably were since they needed to be in english. Makes me wonder if it's the same with the Japanese version.
So I came back to finish doing our financial books and put the soundtrack to "Princess Mononoke" on. I've decided, or discovered, that I'm most inspired to be creative by movies like "Spirited Away", "Princess Mononoke","Dark Chrystal","Goonies",... I'm sure there are others, but I can't bring them to mind right now. It's the fun fantasy stuff. I guess it's "kid adventure". In that case, since I'll admit to a little Peter Pan syndrome, I should throw "Peter Pan" in there.
Maybe that's why I like furry stories and Disney
