I Hear Things...
Feb. 25th, 2003 07:41 pmI wake up with music in my head. It's sometimes something I've been listening to lately. At other times it come out of the blue. I've speculated that maybe I have a filling that's picking up radio and it hasn't told me. when I write the morning pages they usually start with the name of the tune. This is a list of what February brought me. Often it's just a phrase.
Feb 3 -- The second stanza of "Good Vibrations"
Feb 5 -- "You are the Wind Beneath my Wings" I have no idea where that came from.
Feb 7 -- "Why must the Stars Keep on Shining"
Feb 10 -- "I've spent all my Money Trying to Please You and I Want it Back"
Feb 12 -- "Hang Real Loose Like a Long Neck Goose"
Feb 14 -- nothing
Feb 17 -- "Indian Wedding" by Roy Orbison
Feb 19 -- "Pretty Woman"
Feb 21 -- "You and I Travel Forth to a Distant Drum" I'm betting I even got the lyrics wrong.
Feb 24 -- "Don't you -- Forget about me"
A very curious collection. I only own about half of that, and some of it I wouldn't be caught singing in my sleep. But there it is.
