I just saw on the news this morning that Anime has become a large worldwide phenomenon thanks to "Spirited Away" released by Disney. Huh?
"But watch out parents! These comics can have adult themes." The whole report was under the caption "Adult Themed Comics", which I thought was a little misleading. The report itself was very well done, explaining Anime and Manga [slightly since it's a short news bit], How some teachers are using it to teach Japanese, and ending with "Anime is like any other media. There are adult themes and there are children's themes. The popular children's shows, Pokemon, Digimon, and Dragonball are anime. Like any media you should be aware of what your children are watching."
