I've found a treasure. Warehouse Music, that company that bought out Blockbuster Music, has devoted almost half of their store to Used DVDs and CDs. Now, instead of paying $16 and $18 for a CD I pay about $8. Okay, at silver Platters I'd pay $11 to $15. And my anime DVDs that I usually pay $30 for I now can find for $15. So all I need to do is determine what series' I want to find and grab those that come available. If I don't mind getting them out of order I don't have a problem. So far I've got Love Hina #4 and Dragon 1/2. Now I can buy without feeling like I'm wasting money.

And CD's? Today i found a Patric O'hearn album that I didn't know existed. [for those of you who know me, that's "Keith" music.]

I play my music on my computer using the ATI multimedia card. Just in case you didn't know, whenever you place a disk in the computer it asks if you want to go online and search the catalog for the track information. Then it displays that info on your little window bug. [Yeah, so what if they are gathering information!]

So... most of my "Keith" music is too old to have the proper code on the disk that lets them get the information. Even this latest disk came back invalid get server site code. I guess I'm getting obsolete. I shudder to think how many disks in [livejournal.com profile] miko2's audio file come back with errors.

I resent music prices every time I get within three miles of the mall. It pisses me off that everything is $19.99 now. Money-grubbing mercenaries.
