Warmer Shades of Winter

dolphins_logI got my workout in today, but first I managed to sleep in until 9:00. Okay, for me, that's sleeping in. I took advantage of the clear day and took the Christmas lights off of the second story. the rest are still up, but I don't need to perform any acrobatics to get them down.
I could have removed the rest.... but I fell asleep again. Took an hour long nap. This time I think I can blame the warm house. It's 62 degrees outside, according to the atomic clock. And it's 79 inside. We really need to get some drapes up I think. That's one of those things that fall in with getting rooms painted and replacing the ugliest couch in the world.
It's Writer's night tonight. I don't have anything from my new story yet, however I do have the old ghost story, slightly revised. It needs to get into the real editing que, I think.
I'll be making a couple of stops before I head out to Ballard. One at WonderWorld for my occasional comic pick up. The other, well, maybe I'll head out to SouthCenter's Silver Platters. I've got their catalog with the $3 off, weekly coupon on the back. There's some things I want to check out.
Gee... It sounds like a good Saturday; head into town on a sunny winter day for comics , music and friends. 8-) I love Saturdays like this.

Date: 2003-01-18 02:00 pm (UTC)When you stop by WonderWorld, would you see if they have the 2002 Hit the Beach from Radio Comix in? It was supposed to be printed July, actually shipped in September, and I stopped at WonderWorld in October and November and it wasn't in. I just want to pick up a copy of my own (along with the latest "How to Draw Manga" from AP) without going out of my way for nothing again. :) I didn't receive my contributor "comp copies" from last year's until the summer of this year. :/
I'd really appreciate it.
