During the recent trip to Further Confusion at the end of February I filled up some time by making lists on my Visor. Yes, as Gene pointed out, I played a lot of Bejeweled, but I often jumped from the middle of the game to quickly write down a note or two. It wasn't that I intended to accomplish those things on the list. It was more to fill in a moment of time with a quick thought, or to practice using the Visor.
Yesterday I looked up one of this lists. The list was called "Getting Organized!" All conventions put me under the influence of frustrated creativity. This particular list came out of that frustration. there were these six items on the list:
Clear out the office
Clear out the art room
Get out reference material
Get hot synced
Draw Draw Draw
Exercise!!! Walking
I find to my surprise that I have completed four items on the list. The office is clean, the art room is clean, the Visor is hot synced, and I've signed up at the local gym. Perhaps, somewhere, I've written down "Sign on to LiveJournel".
I've heard lists were powerful things, but I didn't know they would exert their own influence.
