In the Forest of the Night

This morning after my workout I slipped into the house quietly, so as not to wake Juli. I've decided I'd much rather take a shower and get ready for work at home then at the gym. Eddie greeted me at the door and asked for food. I think it's the only cat words I know, or perhaps it's the only cat words Eddie says to me.

After feeding Eddie I slipped upstairs and into the bedroom. The lump on the bed told me Juli was sleeping soundly. I quietly walked up to the bathroom door, and met with a shadowy figure coming out. Juli. "aaaaIIEEEE!!" The lump was wadded blankets. Juli was up taking and aspirin. My stealth worked. She didn't hear me come in.

I think I chased off her headache.
