On the first day of Christmas....

dolphins_logI know it's a ways off, and the outdoor lights still haven't been lit, but I gave Juli her first gift tonight. I gave her the Hallmark ornament of the Enterprise, NX - 01. OK, cheesy recorded Captain Archer quotes aside, this one's pretty cool. It's made of pot metal, not plastic. It's dirty silver in color. And it's heavy, substantial. It's a good addition to our set. Earlier this year I gave her the Delta Flier, the other new ornament, for her birthday.
I've been fighting e-bay to get three Barbies for her, the first three of the Princesses of the World series. I've got two of them now, safely in the office at work. Tonight while I was out getting dinner Juli surfed the web looking for what she might like. She said she was kicking herself for not collecting those three when she had the chance. Score! Now I just have to get that last one, Princess of the French Court. that one seems to be the hardest.
I've also ordered her two buffs from Survivor: Marquesas and Survivor:Thailand. OK, so Survivor isn't really high entertainment. she likes it. she has a buff from survivor Africa. Why not?
Her big gift will be the tubular wind chimes in the key of A.
So let's see... that's 7 gifts. I need five more.
