I signed on for NaNoWriMo this year. Should be interesting. I'm concerned about the time I may have to put into it, but I guess that's what it's about.

Today I planted the Mum's that have been sitting in their 4" pots for far too long. Now I'll just wait for a hard freeze. I've also scattered all of the bulbs that I dug up while laying the garden walls behind the mail box. I haven't told Juli. I'm hoping that they'll come up come February and surprise her. I just thought... maybe I'll buy a bunch more while she's at work and shove them into dirt as well. The older one's have lost their color.

Just checking in on my friends list, and you're the first person I get to comment to, you lucky guy. We saw the lighthouse out around Newport in Oregon, and I thought about you and Juli... :)

There are two lighthouses in Newport. One is traditional looking and out by the ocean. That's Yaquina Head. The other is on the bluff on the north side of the bridge. That's Yaquina Bay. Which one did you see?
