Rain coming and BBQ

Here is part of the meteorological discussion that the weather forecast is based on.

"Anticipate improving weather Friday night as the system exits the
region and a short wave ridge moves over the area. Weak high pressure
aloft will prevail on Saturday...however the leading edge of a
wetter and stronger Pacific system will begin moving into the western part
of the County Warning Area Saturday afternoon.


As stated in the previous discussion...the late weekend storm will
be atypical and wet for this time of the year...and will have tapped
into the remnants of a western Pacific typhoon. Thus have bumped up probability of precipitation
quite a bit across the area for the Saturday night and sun period as
well as increased rainfall amounts. "

So it looks as if our monster croquette game will actually be a game of Soak-em.  I'll still light the BBQ as it's covered and the coals will still cook.

....And I MISS JULI!!!!

Fortunately the Cowan family will be getting together on Sunday for a BBQ, and I'll see her then.

Thank you for hosting the BBQ and the game, even if it rained and I came late for both.
