dolphins_logI got up with Juli this morning at 5. She was all packed and ready to leave to Everett for three weeks. [sigh]. We tried to get coffee but just as we pulled in two cars pulled in ahead of us. They had the right of way, but it did make the line longer then Juli could wait. So off she went. I came back home and fell asleep for 2 more hours. We DID NOT SLEEP WELL IN THE HUMIDITY last night. Now Juli gets to stay in air conditioning. She has a pool to lounge by and a full kitchen. Not that she's on vacation, but....
Two weeks ago I called for service on our digital cable. They scheduled a service for today. TWO WEEKS WAIT!!! This seems to be the norm as we've had to call for service three times these past three months. The appointment was for 4 this afternoon. I did some yard work, lawn mowing and such. Then I spread some moss out on the lawn. Whoa! Insta-death for moss!
Wave Broadband's tech arrived, and in the end replaced the new DVR box with an even newer DVR duel deck box. No extra charge. BONUS! Now I wont complain about the two week wait.
As soon as he left I cruised down to Gig Harbor to pay my dental bill. When I arrived I discovered that I had won a $60 gift certificate at the Narrows Airport Landing Restaurant! DOUBLE BONUS!!! Unfortunately Juli just left town for three weeks. Bummer. I drove down to the Tacoma Narrows Airport to check out the restaurant. It looks okay. A few cuts above Shari's and a cut bellow Anthony's.
SInce I was so close to the new Tacoma bridge I thought I'd go check that out. Traffic is Very Smooth both ways now.
