Here's the Dirt!

Today, at 8:30 AM, a small dump truck pulled up and dumped 10 yards of garden soil on a tarp sitting on our grass. I started in right off hauling dirt to fill in the walls that I've been building all this time.


By about 4:00 this afternoon I ran out of juice.
"Go to the store and buy more."
I ran out of energy. The walls are filled in, but there's still a yard of dirt sitting on the tarp. You see, for $2 less then what I would have paid for nine yard they gave me an extra yard. Gotta find something to do with it now. I've got to get the tarp off the grass soon or I'll lose the lawn. I'll finish tomorrow. That shouldn't hurt.

I stumbled into the house and sat on the stares. Juli stared at me with this grin on her face, a grin of sympathy. She offered to clean out the tub. I took both a shower and a bath. I usually only shower. I haven't had a bath since... before I started losing weight. Hey, I can submerge my stomach now!!!

After today the scale said 165. Woo!

Yay! Weight loss among my friends is something that always makes me happy. ^_^

It's nice to see them succeed at a goal with such tangible results. I'm still very proud of Matt for the weight he lost a few years back (and kept off!). ^_^
