...And in the morning I'll make Waffels!
Jul. 21st, 2002 09:51 pmToday was Juli's Birthday. I made waffles and bacon this morning and then Juli opened her presents. She was quite pleased. She spent the day watching the "Patriot Games" DVD I gave her and working on her stitchery. I worked a little in the yard and read some manga. Basically we lounged.
Then we went out to see a Matinee of "Men in Black II". It was fun, not as good as the first, but still fun. Then we had a nice dinner at Tweeten's Lighthouse, a favorite haunt of ours for special occasions. We've made Tweeten's a Valentines Day tradition.
We took the long way around to get home, driving along the water all around Port Orchard Point and Rich Passage, watching the sunlight fade. I think she had a good birthday. Tonight we'll eat ice cream bars.
