I have alert days where everything is sharp and chrystal clear. Then there are days like today where I just can't seem to get moving. Yesterday was one of those clear days. I managed to get a quick CIS put together for my Indeterminate Form band member with Tai Pan. I guess he'll need to go through the process.

On the way to Seattle, while the boat was docked at Vashon we were treated to a view of Springer, that orphaned baby orca that's hanging around the MV Evergreen State. Apparently the MV Evergreen State is making some sort of noise the Springer has imprinted on. Sad. I understand that they are going to attempt to return her to her pod up near Vancouver Island.
At the editorial board meeting things went smoothly. The salad was great. Some sand can be expected in lettuce at times. With all the effort Gene and Mike go through to feed this group I have no complaints, really. After watching some of "Samurai Jack" I headed off to the boat. While waiting in the fading light of the day I read through some Manga that I've had collecting for a while, and my new stuff I bought that day. I had "Styx: Greatest hits" playing on the tape deck. A real good pre-Summer evening. I know Mark doesn't think much of "Mr. Roboto", but it makes me think of a an interesting character for Gene's SteamPunk campaign. To bad I don't seem to have much time for gaming. ...then again maybe it's a good thing.
Juli and I stayed up until 2:00 am talking [and me watching her play Conquest II]. That set me up for todays slug day. While we were talking I drank two letters of water. I hadn't had much all day. That meant I had to get up four times through the night. Blea! We didn't get up until 11:30. We went out to breakfast at the Family Pancake House which was nice. I had [gasp] a cup of coffee. maybe that was my problem. that would be the 6th cup of coffee I've had this year. Maybe I'm just not able to take it anymore. Anyhoo, we got home at about 1:30 and I fell asleep for an hour. I woke up a couple of times. Once to hear Juli discipline her cat. Saavik is peeing on the carpet again. Eddie is crapping on it. ARGH!!!
So after cleaning up after the cats, *sigh* Juli and I sat down to watch "Ocean's Eleven". I like the music in that film and I'll have to get the soundtrack.

The end result of today's bright and sunny day was that ... I really didn't do anything.

How much water can you fit in an envelope, anyway? And how do you get the things to seal? And doesn't it just turn into a soggy mess of fibres long before it even gets to the post office?
