Of Teeth and Tires
Jun. 7th, 2007 05:54 pmBusy day!
Juli and I traded cars today. I was up at 8. I had a dentist appointment at 10 in Gig Harbor. After 3 hours in the chair I have a shiny gold thing in my mouth. I also have 1 quarter of my mouth deep cleaned to the roots. It's been 10 years after all. I have some temporary gum problems which, with proper care, can be reversed. I also have some permanent gum concerns, but nothing that can't be controlled. All in all, relatively good news.
Left Gig Harbor at 1 with instructions to find myself a Sonicare toothbrush.
Second stop, take Juli's car in for an oil change. ...or as my numb lips said. "Oible chambs! Oible chambs!" Bit of a wait there, but I had a good book, so that was no problem. I hate it when they try to sell me more service. I have a trusted mechanic, thank you.
Left Express Lube at 3:30 to go to Les Schwaub for a tire rotation. Fast! Efficient! Free!
Left L.S. for Wal * Mart to pick up a Sonicare. Paid $78 for their cheapest design. Went shopping at Fred Meyer where I found the same brush for $50. Returned the one to Wally World and picked up the one at Freddies. Fred Meyers: Better Prices then Wal * Mart. Cool.
Got home at 5: 30. Tender gums, but not sore.
