Journey to the Clinic
Sep. 7th, 2006 04:07 pmJust before I was to leave for not-work this morning Juli came downstairs and said she thought we should go to the clinic. This was day 6 and her cough hadn't abated at all.
We were there for about 2 hours where she was x-rayed poked and prodded. They sent her home with a couple of prescriptions and a note to work saying "Stay home". The diagnosis was a cold and a little dehydration, the later of which kept her lungs from clearing normally.
Bit of a relief, that.
However the doc called a little later and said that he had the radiologist look over the x-rays. Now it's a very mild [stress on very mild] case of pneumonia. The prescription remains the same though. ...and stay off work for three days.
I'm not reeeealy worried. But it's a bit of a ... diversion from my not so regular routine.
