Muscles Conflicted / Computer Pre-Gifted
Feb. 8th, 2006 07:59 amMy body seems to be in a state of confusion. I'm tired, yet I'm full of energy. I'm lethargic, yet I seem to be ... anti-sluggish? Is that a term? I'm comfortably exhausted?
It has to do with the workout routine, I'm sure. I know you're not supposed to overextend yourself, and I've talked with the attendants at the gym. So I'm on target. I've been going in 5 days a week to run the treadmill, but I've only been using the weights every other day. I've been on that schedule for the past month.
Ah. Brain has kicked in now. I need more sleep. I stayed up too late last night. Sleep good.
In other news, I've picked up Juli-sans-e's Valentines Day gift. After looking over Dell, Gateway, Costco, and Office Depot, I bought an eMachine from Beast Buy. Since Juli is a very light computer user I tried to go for the cheapest system possible. She just recently upgraded from the old Laser 128 [Apple II e/c clone of the 1980s], thanks to
miertam. Michael gave a rebuilt computer named "Scraps" to her, and she took to it pretty well. It took her about a month to hand enter her library file into the PC spread sheet.
I gave her a real nice flat panel monitor lat Valentines day. So this year she gets the computer. Despite the fact that I looked for the cheapest model, she's still going to end up with a better system them mine. Technology! Go figure!
