Saturday Reloaded
Apr. 3rd, 2004 10:02 pmWhat a beautiful day it was! Although I spent this morning and half of this afternoon paying bills and reloading our home accounts back to between December 15 and January 1. While there is some tweaking left to do I can proudly say the accounts balance once more and are workable.
After balancing back four and a half months of all the accounts I hopped into the car and drove down to TJ Maxx in Tacoma. There, with my lovely wife's assistance, I selected about 5 new shirts. Since I am a spouse of an employee I get the employee discount. And this weekend is the special employee double discount weekend. That's 20% off their regular low prices. Not a bad score. After Shopping a walked to Bertelino's, the 24 hour coffee shop and picked up a latte for Juli. She looked like she needed one.
While I drove down to Tacoma I heard a commercial on the radio about Fred Meyers Fuchsia Saturday. Fuchsia starts were on sale at 50 cents each, AND they would pot them for you. ...but only until 4:00. Fortunately I know where Tacoma's Fred Meyers is on 19th. I waded through the crouded garden department, chose four fuchsia and a pot and stood in two lines. I managed to be the second to last one to get fuchsia potted for free.
On the way home I stopped again at Fred Meyers, this time in Port Orchard. I bought a Biiiiiiiig package of Monnnster hot dogs. It has 20 1/4 pound hot dogs in the package. Tonight[after hanging the fusha pot and cleaning the kitchen,... and feeding the cat... and putting away the new clothes... oh, and the tools I hauled out to hang the pot] i bar-b-qued hot dogs for Juli and I. I had sauerkraut for mine and a even made chili for Juli.
...and we watched Mariner's Baseball with delicious blackened crispy hot dogs. MMM mmm MMM MMMM MMmMMmmm!
