The first week of April
Apr. 6th, 2003 07:48 pmI spent the weekends free time being domestic. What with Juli being ill [she's not anymore] and my putting in extra time at the shop, the house got a little worn around the edges. Yesterday I cleaned up a lot of it and vacuumed. That was after getting back from the movie.
This morning I experimented with some ripe bananas and made banana pancakes and maple sausage for Juli. Highly successful. Since we slept in until the late hours that didn't leave much of the afternoon left.
I decided to recycle.
( Recycle Journey and how things just work out. )
That job got done. Things just always work out if you don't get worked up over them. Needless to say the April resolutions got a little neglected.
( And Here's the check in. )
Interesting, but with my "Peter Pan" discovery and daylight time underway I feel a rush of Spring Creativity coming on. It's one of those inspiring atmospheres that take me about this time, especially with twilight. Or maybe it's going to Norwescon for 23 years. I love the twilight. The problem is I get easily sidetracked. I allow something to convince me to put things off. This year is the first time I've put lists up and committed to list checks every week. Perhaps this will keep me focused.
I've printed up the list. I'm going to try posting it somewhere where I have to see it every day. That way I have to check it daily instead of weekly.
