Saturday fog and Lighthouse Fun

Juli and I took a day trip on Saturday. About 11 AM, and after a stop for an espresso and second stop for a McD's breakfast, we headed off to Port Townsend. We chose Saturday because Steve Pool said that would be the better of the two weekend days. He also said there would be fog in the straights and around Whidbey Island.

Sunday, Stung by Ferry Runs

Sunday was obviously the better day for indoor shopping. We had planned to go to Ikea.

However ... ( Juli got a call from her brother. )

On these hot nights we leave the windows open. We have a lot of coyotes out here! they yip and howl all night long it seems. Eddie does NOT spend the night outside. This neighborhood, no matter how well developed, could easily become a coyote smorgasbord.

Other then that, it's kinda cool to have them serenade us to sleep.
