Lazy Sunday
Feb. 24th, 2002 06:39 pmI got home last night at about 12:00 Midnight. That's typical for any Saturday Tai Pan excursion. Juli spent the next 90 minutes filling me in on the Olympics.
This morning we both lounged in bed until 11:30. I haven't been able to sleep in for the past week, and I still seem to be fighting some residual what-ever-that-flu was.
Still, today was crisp and cold and beautiful. We went to breakfast at the Family Pancake House, one of our favorite haunts. God, I love living near everything! Then we stopped at Wal-Mart to pick up more paint chips. We're going to be painting a couple bathrooms soon. We chopped them up and slowly eliminated those we didn't like. We settled on three for the main bathroom and one for the cat's bathroom.
Then I fell asleep again. I'm really getting tired of this. Spent some time finding out who various LJ people are. Some are still a mystery.
Now we are getting ready to settle in and watch closing ceremonies, see what kind of show Salt Lake can put out. They've been okay with the ceremonies so far.
Really wanted to get some homework done. Then again.. not really. I'm still just putting in time with this class. I don't feel I'm learning much at all. There are stories I want to write and paintings I want to start... and finish actually. I've had one underway since September.
Truly a Lazy Sunday.
