3.7th Anniversary

Every month, on the 26th of the month, I get Juli a card. We were married on September 26th. My intention was to get her a card a month for the first year we were married. But as soon as the year was up I couldn't stop.

I take the card down to what ever post office I can get to and get them to round stamp it. I try to get an out of the way one, but usually it's just Poulsbo, due to time constraints. They expect me down in Poulsbo these days and have the rubberstamp ready for me even before I get to the window. We've got some interesting postmarks, the best of which is Ferndale, CA. on September 26, 2000. That was when we had our "Lost Coast" adventure on our second anniversary.

So today I have a card for Juli. It will say "Poulsbo" as I can't get out far enough to get something interesting, like Colby, or Kingston, or Hansville would be great. Maybe I can get Hansville after all. They have a lighthouse up there. I'll have to try to get off work on time today.

They say you're only newlywed for a year. I don't know who the "They" are that say it, but I question their credibility.

I forget out anniversary all the time!

Lucky for me, so does Michael. ^_^

But I still feel guilty, because I used to be good at remembering such things...
