I started digging into my computer and reading my tech manual. I have integrated graphics on the mother board and I wanted to upgrade it. If I have this right I can only upgrade my graphics using the AGP slot. So now I need to find out which is better; a Graphics Performance Accelerator or an Add-in AGP graphics card.

It's about two hours of additional knowledge, but it seems like a fun.

I would go with an AGP graphics card, Look at the Nvidia cards GeForce 2, 3, and 4. They are fairly high end powerwise, but since they licence the chipset out you can find off brands useing the same chips for a reasonable price.
