Falling on my head like a memory
Nov. 21st, 2003 08:28 amWe didn't get any snow. However Poulsbo and North Kitsap were the hot spots on the Radio Traffic Reports. ...for good reason.
All the way from Port Orchard to the Shermen Hill summit between Silverdale and Poulsbo the roads were dark and wet. People were driving between 65 and 70 as per usual [idiots]. As soon as I got north of the Keyport/Bangor junction I entered the Ice Rink. Suddenly everyone is a slow sane driver, that is everyone that's not yet in the ditch.
...or into the woods in a few cases. The only way we could see they were in the trees was because their headlights were on. ...and facing back to the highway. They had to be truly spinning to accomplish that. Highway 3 was wall to wall warning lights and flares.
Weeeee!
