WDW: Lego-lishious
Oct. 23rd, 2003 10:36 pmJuli and I have found that a vacation of this sort needs a day off, a day to do nothing or take a vacation from the vacation. That's why we made our park hopper pass good for one day less then our length of stay. There are still quite a number of places you can go to at WDW without actually going into a park. There are all of the other resorts, the Boardwalk, and Downtown Disney. We had been to most of the other resorts on our last visit. There was a new one we wanted to check out, Animal Kingdom Lodge. I'll save that for a later post.
We also wanted to go shop at Downtown Disney. We needed to pick up a couple of toys for our neighbor's kids, since Donna was so nice to take care of our cats while we were away. There is a SUPER SIZED Lego store down there that has SUPER DUPER SIZED Lego art out front, and even in the lake. And the digital cameras could handle shots of these guys with the thunderstorm rolling in, while the 35 mm cameras had trouble with it. This was actually the only thunderstorm we experienced, and rolled in fast and furious.

We didn't want to try out the cameras to capture the storm. Too much water going on. We dig get the Lego critters. So here are those Lego beasts.
