I'm Here! I'm Here
Oct. 16th, 2003 09:21 amYes, we are back from almost Thundery Orlando. ...and, no, this isn't a trip report.
I do have a couple of interesting observations. Usually when I return from a trip the trip itself fades quickly into a dream like memory. Not so this time. When we left, moments after Conifur, it was still summer. It seems Fall rolled in while we were away. ...with a vengeance. I love it! There has been so much change here that I feel like I haven't come home yet.
The other observation is a big relief. I showed up to work on Monday and found the traditional organized piles that Suzanne leaves me. She likes to come in and describe what each one of them are. However I am so used to her methods that I managed to divvy up and process the work before she arrived. Further more, She and Bud managed to ship and run the office just fine wile I was away.
It's a tremendous load off my mind to know that I can take off for two weeks and the business will keep operating! I can almost "Think" again without feeling overloaded.
A third observation is that I didn't gain any weight while I was away.
A Fourth is that I am still on Orlando time, even after 6 days. Yawn.
