It took about a half hour to get Juli's battery swapped out. Her fellow associat wanted to chat, and used up a lot of our daylight doing so. Ah well.... We let him. ;-) As we were swapping out the battery I looked at Juli's old one. It came with the car back in 1994. Instead of borrowing this battery from Ken's I think we'll buy it.

I love the discription of the battery in the owners manual. I was looking for the stats on the battery. What I got was "Use only 'OUR' brand of battery! 'OUR' brand is best suited for your vehicle blahblahblah." Not helpfull. I went to the internet instead.

On the way home I got to thinking that if I went to Fred Meyers and bought a trickle charger I wouldn't need to swap out this battery for the trip to Poulsbo tomorrrow. Good Idea!

Last winter our battery died. It was the original Ford Motor Company battery. It's a '92 model care, which means it rolled out of the factory in '91. Yeah, I guess it was time.

Oh, and get yourself so good, long extension cords for the charger. They come in handy. If a visitor leaves their headlights on, they're always the ones who parked waaaaaaay down at the end of the block.
