Scattered

I've looked over my last few LJ entries. They seem to be a little scattered as far as composition goes. I haven't been focused on them. This summer has actually been rather incredible. I feel I'm getting a lot accomplished. When I get home from work I don't crash like I used to. Now I do things like... build walls.

Today I killed time. Juli and I got up late and went to a late breakfast at the Family Pancake House. When we got home I measured off space to determine how much garden dirt I would need. [9 yards]. Then I killed time on the computer... playing. Later, at about 3:00 I headed to the nursery to order dirt. They closed early today. I continued to drive down the Bethel/Burly road to Purdy and then back up hwy 16 to home, more killed time. Then I played more on the computer.

Yes, today I killed time, time I could have used to clean the rust off of my writing skills. Perhaps make these entries a little more focused. I don't feel too bad though. I accomplished quite a bit yesterday, enough to make me feel this weekend hasn't been a waste.

That's just it, I haven't been putting off projects like I used to, or loafing about. I still do, some, obviously when you look at today. It's 6:15, I could still get some yard work done. It's those small bits of time; half hours, 45 minutes-ez, that I've been putting to use. I'm still somewhat scattered. But with the same amount of focus I've been putting into actually using small bits of time, perhaps I can start making use of all of the small bits of time.

Perhaps a time log.
