Frances is bearing down on the Southeastern Bahamas. the government of the Bahamas has upgraded the Hurricane Watch for the Central Bahamas to a hurricane Warning. Category 4 at 140 mph, with strengthening possible before she reaches the Bahamas.
A Hurricane Watch may be raised for Florida tomorrow. It's still too soon to predict. While Frances may decrease in strength as she goes through the bahamas, it's still likely that she will hit the coast as a major hurricane.
