Out of the Surf and into the Soup

But the drive to work and the drive home were both in daylight. It seems spring sprang while we were at the ocean. THis evenings drive was in a downpour.
On the way back home there was a bit of a startle driving through the Willapa Hills. The hills are bare! At first I thought is was clear cutting, but no. Apparently Pacific, Grays Harbor, and Wahkiakum Counties were all hit by hurricane force winds in December of 2007, which took out a massive amount of forests. Scary looking.
