Cement Overshoes
Jan. 4th, 2007 09:31 pmOne of the old set of drawers from the Rollingbay Studio is headed our way. They aren't a work of art, but they are made of good 1960's Tennessee Cedar, and they are well built. I had to find the space in our garage to move them in [is everyone absolutely sure they don't want the ugliest orange couch in the world?]. These drawers are going to be the new utility workspace drawers.
While working on the garage my neighbor came over and asked for help pouring some concrete for his deck and patio. So I spent the next two hours shoveling concrete. In the process I splattered my pants and shoes. I hosed them off as soon as we were through and tossed them into the wash.
The shoes didn't make it. So now I need new sneakers.
