Coffee, Tea, or Rocks?

Juli worked the late shift today. I got up early enough to get her a latte. Sounds Repetitive?

I thought about getting some tea, but bought an extra large latte for myself. Call me tired man.

I spent most of the afternoon on the rocks at Manchester State Park, doing some quick sketches of waves. Now there are some gesture drawings. Much of my time I simply sat and contemplated the surroundings, giving my future some thought.

One thing I figured out was "why contour drawing?" This is the exercises of drawing the outside edge of an object without looking at the paper. It's one thing to have it explained to you verbally. It's quite another to feel the answer. Sure, someone can tell you "It's all about eye/hand coordination." But unless you feel the answer, all of that is just a string of words.
