One and a Half Seconds of Fame
Mar. 14th, 2006 07:58 amAll afternoon yesterday there were police officers investigating something in the hotel next door. [huh... "CSI: Poulsbo"] We share the driveway with the hotel so it was kind of noticeable if we wanted to get our coffee [tea] or drive out for lunch.
Well as it turns out they had arrested the Chimacum High School principle there. Apparently he had been caught with voyeuristic photos of one of his students on his laptop computer. While he was in Arizona someone saw the photos and called his wife in Chimacum. His wife called the police.
So when he returned and found out they were looking for him he fled to Poulsbo. Then he turned himself in here.
This morning I’m watching the news with the sound turned down. I look up and see an ariel view of the hotel. ...and our studio. Our studio is too close to the hotel not to get into the shot.
