I ran three miles on an endless rubber-band.

I kept my heart rate in the zone. Does my heart rate? How does a treadmill effect the emotional state of the heart? Is the incline uplifting? It goes nowhere.

I ran three miles. Are the Endorphins home? Can they come out and play?
