Tropical Storm Bonnie is better organized. Winds are at 50 MPH. Tropical Storm Warning have been issued for the Northwestern Florida and the Panhandle as well as the coast of Georgia. A Hurricane Watch has been issued for portions of Northwestern Florida.

Tropical Storm Charley is powered up to 70 MPH. 74 is hurricane strength. Tropical Storm warnings remain in effect for Jamaica. Hurricane Warnings are up for the Cayman Islands. Portions of Cuba have a Hurricane Watch in effect.

Again, Florida, this time in the Keys, has a Hurricane Watch in effect concerning Charley. So Florida may get hit from both ends.

Charley has become the second hurricane of the season at category 1 with winds at 75 MPH. Watches and Warnings remain unchanged.

Hurricane Warnings have been issued for portions of the Florida panhandle. Bonnie is expected to become a hurricane later today or early tomorrow EDT.

Jamaica has issued Hurricane Warnings as Charley approaches. Hurricane Watches have been expanded in Southern Florida to include most of the Keys and a portion of the Southwest Coast.
