I'm sure it's the weather.
May. 27th, 2004 10:29 amI'm pretty sure it's the weather. I can wake up easily while the sun is coming up. These being the longest days of the year, that mean I can get up very early and feel refreshed. I got up on time today and got to work at 6:30. As the Gordon Lightfoot song goes, "I'm on my second cup of coffee..." Unlike the pour guy who "still can't face the day", I seem to be doing alright. I'm tired, sure, but I'm getting the work done.
I continued writing last night. I got four more pages done. There is a scene I told Daren that I'd write, bringing his character further into the story. But the story was having trouble convincing me that the scene was needed. This morning, while working in the mold room, Daren's character told me why he wanted to be included. Short and sweet.
I only completed four pages because I took time to watch two episodes of "Samurai Jack" DVD. I didn't watch the "Enterprise" season finale though. Television is having less of a draw on my now that the computer is calling. This is a good thing.
