Sunday and Week One
Jan. 11th, 2004 04:17 pmToday has certainly been busy. I slept in, which is my Sunday prerogative. I don't get to sleep in much. I got up before Juli and cleaned the kitchen. I had to wait for her to get up before I could start taking down the outdoor Christmas lights. My access to the roof is through the bedroom window. You know what the "Real" first sign of spring is? When the Christmas lights come down. It helps that it's 50 degrees out and the sun is shining.
Taking down the outdoor lights took a good three hours. I didn't disassemble the lawn sculpture. Instead I've left them standing in the garage so that they can dry out.
My next task was to take Juli's car to get an oil change. They were backed up and short crew. I left the car and went grocery shopping. "We're havin' Fish Tonight!" --Bruce-- The shopping and the car took about an hour. Next, off to Wal Mark to pick up some photos I had developed for work. Then Gas up Juli's car and here I am... ...watching the sunlight fade.
( So here is the first check in of 2004. )
