While you were out...
May. 3rd, 2003 10:37 pmJuli performed a "While you were out" thing on me during her vacation. Okay, so I got to see the progress rather then the completed task. She painted the downstairs bathroom, and it look Real Cool!! She painted it light blue with a dark blue 20" wide stripe horizontally around the room. Between the light and dark blue she left a half inch white stripe.
I had to fix the toilet of course, that's why she couldn't surprise me. Those of you who were here for last years BBQ remember how it sprayed all over and leaked down the outside of the tank. All it took was a new gasket for the ball cock, but it took a bit of jockeying to figure that out.
then there was todays piece of furniture. We now have a white "beach club" type cabinet that stands on the floor behind the john. We put that together this afternoon. All that's left to do is to hang a few pictures and it's done. And Juli did it mostly by herself. Her ideas, her execution and her direction. Now we have a purple office and a blue bathroom.
