Adventures in Christmas Shopping.

Today was juli's last day off before Christmas. I arranged to have the day off as well so that we could get our shopping done. Instead I dropped her off in Silverdale and went on to Poulsbo so that I could ship off a package overnight. While I was there...

"...Keith, do you have time to work over some images on the computer for me?"
no.
"Keith while your packing that box could you pack up these two figurines for me to take home?"
no. Juli is waiting for me in Silverdale.
"Ring...Ring...Ring"
I'm not here, people!
"Ring-"
C. Alan Johnson, this is Keith.
"Yes, will you be open next week?"

I managed to get back to Juli only to find that she had finished the shopping.

We planned to see a movie tonight, either Treasure Planet or ST:Nemesis. Because Lord of the Rings came out all of the theaters stop showing Treasure Planet at 5 so they can have two screens to show the new hit. Since Nemesiswouldn't start until 7 we decided to head back to Port Orchard and see it there.

I needed to buy stuff for bread making tomorrow. but I had to confirm something with genebreshears first. A quick call before we left for the theater..

Gene, it's just almonds that you have trouble with, right?
"Yes."
Nothing else?
"Not that I know of."
Okay, great. See ya tomorrow. [and then forgetting that I'm not talking to Juli] I love you. I mean..I .. er

At this point Juli is howling with laughter downstairs. "I heard that!" Gene is reassuring me it's all right and I'm so red I'm sure it's transmitting over the phone.

So off we went to see Nemesis. It was okay. I had a good time. Poor Wil Wheaton's character ended up on the cutting room floor. I can see why, Wesley wasn't too important to the plot.

Then we went to Sharis for dinner. We ended up waiting for twenty minutes after we were seated, just to be acknowledged. The food was just okay.

So that was our last shopping day before Christmas. I'm still waiting for quite a few of Juli's presents to show up, but other then that, we're done.
